Traditional barrier systems
Many thousands of miles of safety barrier, manufactured by Corus, have already been installed on Britain’s highways. As a result Corus have a wealth of experience and a long established record in this field, which enabled the proprietary system Vetex to be designed.
However Corus still offer the traditional systems, included in this range are tensioned and untensioned corrugated systems, open box beam safety barrier and double rail open box beams.
Transitions and connectors
Corus CEP can manufacture and supply all aspects of non-proprietary road safety barrier system components. Normally we can deliver standard products direct from stock.
Tension corrugated safety barrier
Corus CEP can manufacture and supply all aspects of the non-proprietary Tensioned Corrugated Beam (TCB) road safety barrier system. Normally we can deliver standard products direct from stock.
Untensioned corrugated safety barrier
Used in low speed situations mainly on slip roads and roundabouts or for protecting at verges as they can be used on sharper curves than the tensioned safety barrier.
Open box beam safety barrier
Corus CEP can manufacture and supply all aspects of the non-proprietary Open Box Beam (OBB) and Double Rail Open Box Beam (DROBB) road safety barrier systems. Normally we can deliver standard products direct from stock.
