Corus sections interactive "blue book"
The Corus sections interactive "blue book" is an electronic version of the SCI Blue Book. The latest release, includes design information in accordance with the relevant parts of both BS EN 1993-1-1 (Eurocode) and BS 5950.
The Corus sections interactive "blue book" comprises design data for the Advance®, Celsius® and Hybox® ranges of sections . All design data is generated from the root software functions used to populate SCI P363 : Steel Building Design: Design Data, in accordance with Eurocodes and the UK National Annexes and SCI P202: Steelwork Design Guide to BS 5950-1: 2000. The Corus sections interactive "blue book" is available in two forms
- an installed standalone version which includes an in-built automatic update service for users connected to the Internet and;
- a web hosted version (requires IE6 or above) which does not require any software to be installed on your computer.

The web hosted 'blue book' gives section properties and member capacities in tabular form in accordance with both BS EN 1993-1-1 as well as BS 5950-1:2000..
Please note that this web-based version of the 'blue book' is only compatable with IE6 and above. Users with other browsers might like to use the installed standalone version which you have to install onto your PC.
