Structural Steel Design Awards
The objective of the SSDA is to celebrate the excellence of the United Kingdom in the field of steel construction, particularly demonstrating its potential in terms of efficiency, cost effectiveness, aesthetics, sustainability and innovation.

Corus Student Awards 2009/2010
The Corus student awards features two different categories; structures and steel briges. The objective of this competitions is to encourage engineering design skills in the use of structural steelwork in an innovative structural solution. Please note that for the 2009/2010 competition, no financial prizes will be awarded, and there are no plans for an awards ceremony. It is anticipated that the winning submissions will be reported in New Steel Construction.

About Living Steel
Living Steel, a worldwide programme to stimulate innovation in the design and construction of housing, was launched in February, 2005. The programme was developed to help address societal pressures stemming from increasing urban population densities.
