About Living Steel
Living Steel, a worldwide programme to stimulate innovation in the design and construction of housing, was launched in February, 2005. The programme was developed to help address societal pressures stemming from increasing urban population densities.
Structural Steel Design Awards
The objective of the Structural Steel Design Awards is to celebrate the excellence of the United Kingdom in the field of steel construction, particularly demonstrating its potential in terms of efficiency, cost effectiveness, aesthetics, sustainability and innovation.
Corus Student Awards
The Corus student awards features three difffernt categories; structures, architecture and steel briges. The undergraduate awards focuses on the design of structural steelwork in relation to a building and the other focusing on the design of a steel bridge.
