Corus host steel in construction lecture series
As part of its commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Corus is hosting a series of lectures in London, Newcastle and Belfast on a range of topics relating to Steel in Construction.
The lecture programme is designed to address a wide range of issues and debates that will range from considering questions relating to how best to define sustainability, changing legislation in fire engineering and health and safety, to explaining Eurocodes and tubular welded joint design. Each session will be led by specialist speakers from either Corus, the Steel Construction Institute or Imperial College London.
The lectures will run one evening per week over a six-week period at the following venues:
- Belfast: every Tuesday from 16 October 2007
- London & Newcastle: every Thursday from 18 October 2007
Each evening will consist of two, one-hour lectures, with registration at 5.30pm and the events running from 6.00pm-8.00pm.
