Zone B, Plot 2, ProLogis Park Kettering is a portal framed building 236m wide formed in 8 equal spans with 20 bays each of 7.9m which generates a footprint in excess of 40,000 m2 (approximately the size of 5 football pitches). When completed the building will have consumed in excess of 1200 tonnes of structural steelwork. In addition to the portal frame the site will also encompass a 2 storey office block and a separate 2 storey hub building.
Construction of the buildings began in May 2005 and it is expected to be fully operational by the end of May 2006.The building has been successfully pre-leased to Bosch Siemens Homeware.
