Installed standalone Corus sections interactive 'blue book'
The 'blue book' is an electronic version of the SCI Blue Book. It includes information on the Advance®, Celsius® and Hybox® range of sections in accordance with BS EN 1993-1-1 as well as BS 5950-1:2000.
SIDS2 - Slim Flor Integrated Design Software
SlimFlor Integrated Design Software – ‘SIDS’ – designs and analyses flooring solutions utilising both SlimFlor® Fabricated Beams (SFB) and Asymmetric SlimFlor Beams (ASB) ®. The software improves, updates and replaces the ASB design software (most recently issued as ASB PCC version 4.2), the Slimflor design software (most recently issued as Slimflor version 2.0) and the RHS Slimflor design software (most recently issued as RHS Slimflor version 3.0.1.).
BDES for Advance sections
This program designs and analyses composite and non-composite beams under distributed and/or point loading. Both edge and internal beams are covered employing the new Advance range of sections. Shear connectors may be welded studs or Hilti HVB shear connectors.
Comdek version 8.3
Comdek analyses deep (SD225 and CF210) and shallow (CF46, CF51, CF60, CF80 and CF100) decks in composite floor construction under a wide range of loading configurations.
TSLAB
TSLAB is software to be used in conjunction with the Steel Construction Institute’s publication, Fire Safe Design: A New Approach to Multi-Storey Steel-Framed Buildings (Second edition), SCP P288. The software calculates the load bearing capacity of composite slabs in fire using a method. The use of the software is described in the publication and the use of the software without reference to the publication is not recommended.
